This course is assessment only (no training). It is for cleaning stewards who are already working in the environmental services industry, to demonstrate their understanding of the importance of the Workplace Safety and Health Act and practices at their workplace.
Course Overview
Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation AOP -Level 1 is a WSH module required for every cleaning staff complying with the Progressive Wage Model. The Skill Code is EVS-WSH-1006-1.1.

Course Outline
After completing the Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation AOP- Level 1 assessment, the trainee will
understand and observe workplace safety through adherence to organisational guidelines and regulatory requirements
apply the required knowledge and correct techniques for maintaining safety at the workplace
identify and respond adequately to different types of emergencies at the workplace
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Successful learner will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment for Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation AOP- Level 1 with Skill Code EVS-WSH-1006-1.1.
Pre-requisites
Minimum 3 months experience in the environmental cleaning industry. Companies must ensure that participants have at least 3 months working experience. A company letter of declaration must be submitted for participants who have less than the required experience.
Have undergone job orientation to learn about work roles, responsibilities, limitations, and basic cleaning of hard floor
Be able to read, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1 so as to understand the training.
Possess numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1.

Funding Information
Up to 70% Course Fee Funding by SSG for Singaporeans and PRs only and this is applied by us upon enrolment.
For company-sponsored trainees, the trainee must have a employer-employee relationship & CPF contribution.
Trainees are funded only once for each module and only upon successful completion of the module.
You pay us the Nett Course Fee after funding, by the due date.
If these conditions are not met, or for any reason SSG rejects or reduces the training grant, the individual trainee or sponsoring company of the trainee will have to reimburse the shortfall to us.
For Training courses, employers can submit claims for Absentee Payroll, at $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise (UEN) per calendar year. Funding is eligible for Singaporeans, Permanent Residents of Singapore and Long Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) holders only.
Please note there is no Absentee Payroll for Assessment-Only Pathway (AOP) because there is no training conducted.
Payment Information
Individuals must make payment by cash, or utilise their SkillsFuture Credit, before the commencement of the course.
Corporate clients has 30-day credit term to make payment. Cheque payment to be made to Adepco Consultants Pte Ltd. The individuals who are sponsored by their company will not be allowed to use their SkillsFuture Credit for payment of course fees.
Post Course Funding Support
For Individuals
Eligible NTUC Union members may apply for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) funding support after successful completion of the course. Approval and reimbursement are subject to NTUC terms and conditions.
WSS-eligible trainees may receive Training Allowance and Training Commitment Award.
For company-sponsored trainees
Employers may submit claims for SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC), subject to eligibility and prevailing government requirements.
Absentee Payroll (AP) claims are to be submitted by the sponsoring company after course completion and are subject to SkillsFuture Singapore terms and funding conditions.
All post course funding support are subject to approval by the respective agencies and not administered by Adepco Consultants Pte Ltd.
Trainees and companies are responsible for ensuring that all eligibility criteria, supporting documents and claim submission deadlines are met.
Adepco Consultants Pte Ltd will not be responsible for any rejected, reduced or delayed claims by external agencies.
Enrolment & Certificate
Upon registration, a confirmation of enrolment will be sent.
LOA can be issued by us upon successful completion of course.
SOA/ OpenCert will be issued by SSG to the learner. You may request us to provide the SOA upon receipt of full payment of course fee.
