This course is for cleaning staff to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to perform basic cleaning of hard floor surfaces.
Course Overview
Horizontal Surface Maintenance- Cleaning Of Hard Floor Level 1 is a CORE module required for every cleaning staff complying with the Progressive Wage Model. The Skill Code is EVS-CGO-1004-1.1.

Who Should Attend
It targets cleaning stewards servicing and working in the Airport Terminals, Offices, Business Building and Complex, Shopping Centres, Residential, Public Transport, Hospitality, Retail, Hawker Centre and Food Court or anyone who needs the skills and knowledge to maintain hard floor surfaces.
It is applicable to PWM Job Level - General Cleaner / Indoor Cleaner / Outdoor Cleaner / Healthcare Cleaner / Restroom Cleaner / Table-Top Cleaner / Dishwasher / Refuse Collector.

2 days consisting of 16 hours of training and 1 hour of assessment
Course Outline
After completing the Horizontal Surface Maintenance- Cleaning Of Hard Floor Level 1 training, the learner will be able to:
Understand the basics of cleaning of Hard Floor Surfaces
Know the different types of Hard Floor Surfaces
Make the necessary preparations to clean Hard Floor
Perform cleaning of Hard Floor Surface
Reinstate the work area
Certification Obtained and Conferred by
Successful learner will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment for Horizontal Surface Maintenance- Cleaning Of Hard Floor Level 1 with Skill Code EVS-CGO-1004-1.1.
Pre-requisites
Be new entrants to the cleaning industry or existing cleaners who have not taken this course before.
Have undergone job orientation to learn about work roles, responsibilities, limitations, workplace safety and health practices.
Be able to read, listen and speak English to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 1 so as to understand the training.
Possess numeracy skills to a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Numeracy Level 1.
Courseware is provided. Please bring along pen.

Funding Information
Up to 70% Course Fee Funding by SSG for Singaporeans and PRs only and this is applied by us upon enrolment.
For company-sponsored trainees, the trainee must have a employer-employee relationship & CPF contribution.
Trainees are funded only once for each module and only upon successful completion of the module.
You pay us the Nett Course Fee after funding, by the due date.
If these conditions are not met, or for any reason SSG rejects or reduces the training grant, the individual trainee or sponsoring company of the trainee will have to reimburse the shortfall to us.
For Training courses, employers can submit claims for Absentee Payroll, at $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise (UEN) per calendar year. Funding is eligible for Singaporeans, Permanent Residents of Singapore and Long Term Visit Pass Plus (LTVP+) holders only.
Please note there is no Absentee Payroll for Assessment-Only Pathway (AOP) because there is no training conducted.
This course - Horizontal Surface Maintenance- Cleaning Of Hard Floor-Level 1 is approved for SSG funding and Absentee Payroll.
Payment Information
Individuals must make payment by cash, or utilise their SkillsFuture Credit, before the commencement of the course.
Corporate clients has 30-day credit term to make payment. Cheque payment to be made to Adepco Consultants Pte Ltd. The individuals who are sponsored by their company will not be allowed to use their SkillsFuture Credit for payment of course fees.
Enrolment Information
Upon registration, a confirmation of enrolment will be sent.
LOA can be issued by us upon successful completion of course.
SOA will be issued by SSG to the learner. We will send the SOA upon receipt of full payment of course fee.
